News: NURSERY CARE MEET LAURA MITCHELL Laura is our full time Nursery Director. She staffs the Advent nursery on Sunday mornings from 8:15 until 12:15 and provides activities, snacks and excellent supervision for the children left in her care. She is loved by the kids and parents. Laura is wife of Joe Mitchell and mom of Christian and Cole. She is a life long Lutheran and her grandpa was a long time Columbus pastor. Her parents and brother are members of UALC. Laura is a stay at home mom but does work part time at DaVinci's on Zollinger Rd. Pastor Saunders recommended Laura for the position. He has known Laura and her family for many years and was her confirmation pastor. Pastor noted, "Laura has always had a heart and gift for children. Even as a catechism student she was excellent as a nursery volunteer." If you have not met her yet, stop by the nursery and say "hi." You'll know her by her infectious smile and boundless energy..
