88 children attended, approx. 30 people helped in various ways, $354 was raised for Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Ohio.  Thank you to all the teachers, line leaders, and helpers.  Thank you to the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for helping with the wonderful presentation of “Coastie”.  Thank you to the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources for the materials about fire prevention.  A HUGE thank you goes to Pam Kasai and everyone who helped out with creating the SonRock Kids Camp atmosphere at Advent.

Supplies needed:

• Wrapping paper tubes
• 16.9 oz plastic water bottles (used but clean)
• 4" Chinese food take-out boxes

A sign up sheet is posted in the Narthex to sign up to help with Vacation Bible School snacks. We need lots of goodies! Contact Beckie Evans-Zaebst at 870-4724 with any questions.

All are invited to participate in getting Advent transformed into summer camp for vacation bible school.  Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30:  June 30, July 7, July 14, July 21, and July 28.  Wear old clothing!  Contact person, Pam Kasai at 738-2359 or pamkasai@columbus.rr.com.

SON ROCK KID'S CAMP is coming to Advent!

Remember summer camp? Well Advent will be creating that kind of atmosphere for its vacation Bible school. Every day is packed with activities.
