Vacation Bible School's Final Celebration will be tomorrow, Friday August 5th, at 11:25 am in the Sanctuary.  We have had an awesome week filled with a lot of fun and learning about Jesus.

As part of the week, the mission project for VBS has been a collection for Lutheran Social Services Food Pantries.  This collection has been a competition between the boys and the girls.  As it stands the girls are way ahead and so...... that means that Matt Pittman gets a pie in the face!  However the competition results will be announced during the closing celebration.  If the children raise $500 then that means that Maria Bernon and Matt Pittman both get pies in the face.  The kids have been having a lot of fun with this project, not to mention that they have raised about $300 so far.

If you would like to contribute to the Mission Project you can do so on Sunday morning by designating your special giving to LSS Food Pantries.

The VBS Decorating Team needs your help with setting up on Sunday morning. 

If you are able to help out following the 11 am service this Sunday July 31st, please stay around and we will find a project for you to help out with.
 
We also need help Friday August 5th at 12:00 p.m. with tearing down all of the decorations for VBS.  If you can help teardown, please show up at 12:00 p.m. and then you can help at that point.
 
Keep in mind that the more volunteers we have the less work everyone has to do.  If there aren't a lot of workers then the job is HUGE.
 
Please help out the team with these projects.

Bring the kids for a night out at the movies and help setup the sanctuary for VBS.  The kids will enjoy a G rated movie, popcorn, and lemonade.  For all your hard work you will also receive a snack and fellowship.

Wanted to let everyone know that there are plenty of spots left for Vacation Bible School. 

As of today there are 61 registered and that leaves plenty of space for friends, family, and neighbors.
 
Please don't let your friends, family, and neighbors age 3 to 5th grade miss out on this fun, fabulous, and informative week.  See you there!
