FIRST SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP - Join us this Sunday, in the Fellowship Hall for our VBS theme - Hero Headquarters First Sunday Fellowship.  This event will take place between the services and begin immediately following the 8:30 service.  Food will be moved to the kitchen once Sunday school begins and the fellowship will continue in the Narthex.

MORE VBS HELP NEEDED!  There are two more vital opportunities for you to assist with VBS this year.  Both opportunities will take approximately one hour of your time.  The first is to help with the final set-up process this Sunday, August 1, immediately following the 11:00 service.  The second is to help with taking all of the decorations down on Friday, August 6 immediately following the pizza luncheon (12:30).  If you plan on coming, please let Pam Kasai know at 738-2359.  Thanks for helping!

Vacation Bible School - August 2nd-6th - Welcome to Hero HeadQuarters! 

We will be creating a Hero Headquarters this summer!  If you are interested in helping with the different preparatory projects for Vacation Bible School for this summer, please let Matt Pittman know at 481-7914 or matpitt@yahoo.com.  Registration will be opening on May 16th with a short presentation during the Children’s Message to kick things off.

88 children attended, approx. 30 people helped in various ways, $354 was raised for Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Ohio.  Thank you to all the teachers, line leaders, and helpers.  Thank you to the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for helping with the wonderful presentation of “Coastie”.  Thank you to the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources for the materials about fire prevention.  A HUGE thank you goes to Pam Kasai and everyone who helped out with creating the SonRock Kids Camp atmosphere at Advent.
