MY FAMILY AND ME SUMMER

Join your friends from My Family and Me at a Popcorn Pops concert.   This is the kids version of the popular Picnic with the Pops.  The theme for Friday, July 23 is “Abracadabra.”  Pre-concert activities include face painting, crafts, and popcorn.  Gates open at 6:30 PM for picnicking and the concert begins at 8:00 PM (and lasts about 1 hour).  Individual lawn seat tickets are $12 at the gate.  Discounted tickets can be purchased in advance ($11 per person).  Please RSVP to Amy Rae Bashforth at amyraeb@sbclgoblal.net or 529-1317 so that we can arrange to meet the night of the concert.

The PGA Nationwide Tour is coming to Columbus, Ohio again this summer for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Invitational.   We are looking for Middle and High School kids to serve as volunteer Standard Bearers. You would carry the standard (score sign) and walk with the PGA pro’s and a walking scorer (who will guide you) inside the ropes for 18 holes at the beautiful Ohio State University Scarlet course in Upper Arlington. Available shift dates include July 22 through July 25 – tee times start as early as 6:45am and run every ten minutes until around 3pm. Please allow five hours to complete your shift. FREE Volunteer package includes a free shirt and hat, one volunteer pass, 2 credentials for family/friends, parking pass and a meal. The next My Family and Me event will be held on Sunday, June 20 during the Sunday School hour (9:45-10:45 AM.).  My Family and Me is a program targeted for children aged about 2 years through kindergarten and a special adult (e.g., parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, godparent).  The June activity theme is rainbows.  Please bring a white clothing item (e.g., white t-shirt) to tie-die with your child.  You are also welcome to bring an item to share for a continental breakfast (e.g., fruit, muffins).  Please RSVP to Amy Rae Bashforth at 529-1317 or amyraeb@sbcglobal.net so that we can adequately plan for food and crafts.  We hope to see you there!

Today is the kick-off for Vacation Bible School registration!  Starting today, May 16 after the services, you may register your children.  You can also use the form attached below and send it back in the mail.
