Sunday School Rally Day is scheduled for September 13.  This year the teachers are excited to be using a new curriculum.

The Community Garden is a growing success; already Advent has been blessed with four harvests; this bounty has been shared with Lutheran Social Services, the Clintonville Food Bank, and Advent members.

We continue to monitor expenditures vs. income carefully, finding ways to reduce expenditures where practical.  To that end, the Property Team has contracted with a new alarm-monitoring company at a significant cost savings for the same level of service.

Working on the recommendations of Advent’s Mortgage Refinance Team, who presented three strong options to choose among, Council has identified First Bank of Bexley as the bank with the best refinancing package.  Advent members will be asked to vote on refinancing early at a special Congregational Meeting on August 23rd at 9:45 a.m.
