Church Council Meeting Highlights (June 16, 2009)

Before each meeting, council has started a bible study using the book entitled “Real Faith For Real Life – Living the Six Marks of Discipleship”.
Council passed fiscal year July 2009 through June 2010 budget which will be voted upon by the congregation at the annual meeting on June 28. Copies of the budget will be available on June 21.
Jeni Lahman reported that we are now current with our benevolence to the Southern Ohio Synod.
Vice President Ron Tvorik reported that we have 5 candidates running for council. We have three positions to fill. The candidates are John Borstad, Linda Hunt, Amy Lytle (incumbent), Amy McKinney, and Ron Tvorik (incumbent).
Final plans were made for our Congregation Meeting on June 28.
