BLESSING of the ANIMALS

THE FIRST SUNDAY OF OCTOBER @ 4:00 p.m.

Attention all creatures great and small! Every day we receive a special kind of unconditional love from our pets.  Just as we receive blessings for ourselves, don’t our other family members deserve them, too?  Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 4:00 PM we will observe a beloved Advent Church tradition, the 24th Annual BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS.

We will join together (rain or shine) with our faithful companions for a lively service of blessing and thanksgiving.  Bring lawn chairs or a blanket.  Because there continues to be a need for cat and dog food assistance at the local LSS food pantries, those attending the service are asked to bring a small bag or can of cat or dog food.  Members of the congregation are encouraged to make a similar donation. Please watch for the display in the Narthex.

Any questions, contact Jennifer Parker (available through the church office).

Please join us for this spirited celebration of all God’s beautiful creation!!!
