Confirmation Camp

In addition to great friendships and enduring memories, many important life skills are learned at camp.

  • Deep engagement. Camp is a place apart. At an overnight camp you can visit over meals, walk and talk around campus, have late night chats.

  • Grow in Christ. It is an awesome thing to see other campers your age who also believe in Jesus or who are also struggling to figure out what they believe. Take time with college-age, faith-filled counselors who have been there and can relate to what campers may be going through. With counselor & pastor led Bible studies, this is a great time to dig deep and ask questions.

  • Remove distractions and take a break from the normal routine of life.

  • Unique opportunities. You can do things at camp that you just can’t do at home or at church. It isn’t often that you can get away with creek stomping, worship outdoors, and randomly breaking out into song, but camp is the place where these are normal, acceptable behavior. Because of these unique opportunities at overnight camp, we can break down walls and grow in Christ together.

  • People skills. Learn how to meet new people and grow in relationship with those you already know!

Confirmation students are required to go to Summer Camp and Winter Retreat

at least two out of the three years of the Confirmation Program.

2018 summer camp

This year's theme centered around how

JESUS changes everything!

We explored how the grace of God is so lavishly and extravagantly given to us that it truly does change everything—the reality of the world in which we live; individual hearts, lives, and actions; and the very communities of which the followers of Jesus are a part—all so that the world may be transformed into the dream God has for it.

whataweek!

Water is something that we come in contact with every day, and yet we often take it for granted.  We all need water to live our physical life and through this theme our campers explored water as a source of Christian spiritual life.  All week long our campers, along with 40 other campers from churches all over Ohio, dove into Bible stories that showered them with a new awareness of how water and life are gifts from God!
