Imagine not having food for a Thanksgiving Day feast. Many in our area are struggling with food insecurity this Thanksgiving. The rising costs for food, fuel, and housing are pushing even more of our struggling neighbors over the edge into hunger and homelessness.

They need our help.

In 2006, AdventELC began the Thanksgiving Ingathering Project, an outreach opportunity partnering with Lutheran Social Services

Monetary donations are being accepted by AdventELC that will be given to Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio for direct food assistance.

We have a History of Joyful Giving to Help Those In Need

  • 2017: $997 Thanksgiving + $740 Ingathering Collection

  • 2018: $1,000 + 100 bags (valued at $1,600)

  • 2019: $1,000 + 125 bags (valued at $2,000)

  • 2020: $1,715

  • 2021: $2,000

THAT'S $11,052 in the past 5 years that LSS has stretched to 4 or 5 times that amount with their buying power!
