Robert Eller is originally from Erie, PA & is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, in the Northwest PA Synod. He graduated in 2011 from Mercyhurst College in Erie with a Bachelor’s in History and 2013 from Gannon University in Erie with a Master’s in Education.

Prior to attending Trinity Lutheran Seminary, he was a history teacher and served a year with AmeriCorps. While at St. John’s, he taught Sunday School, served on church council and was the historian and caretaker of the archives, where he spent time doing research on the history of the church.

He is married to a wonderful wife, Tanya, and together they have a beautiful daughter, Isobel. In his free time, Robert enjoys to read, play the clarinet and sax, explore antique shops for those hard to find pieces of history, and visit coffee shops for a cup of great coffee and people watching. And even though he is a native Pennsylvanian, Robert is a diehard Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.
